Leading in to the 2011 season the club has commited to the following trial games:
Saturday 5th February 2011
VRU 7′s Tournamanet played at AMMI park as a curtain raiser to the REBELS V CRUSADERS
Players enjoyed the opportunity to represent the club in the inaugural VRU 7’s tournament & to be able to play on the new stadium surface.
The side progressed to the Semi-final stage where we lost 10-7 to Southern Districts. A good positive start to the season.

VRU 10′s Tournamanet to be played at CERBERUS Naval Base.
MURFC entered 3 teams with all willing players given the opportunity to strut their stuff.
A great day for the club with two teams making it through to the final play off game. Well done to all who made the trek!!
